Rebecca Bellamy FRSA is a freelance Creative based in the South and South West of England. She has worked with hundreds of artists and creative facilitators, producing arts exhibitions and festivals, with a keen interest in using arts as a tool for social change. In 2015 she curated the first British Muslim and Jewish Art exhibition, which she scaled up with a participatory programme in 2016, with Arts Council England funding. In 2014 she produced a significant Arts programme with 40 Artists and Arts Organisations for what was the largest gathering of Quakers in European history.
Rebecca has substantial experience in creative and community project management and development.
She worked for the Muslim and Jewish charity, Salaam Shalom 2010-2016, using Education, Arts and Media to facilitate creative approaches to dialogue. Under her leadership, the charity received awards for its commitment to fostering tolerance.
Rebecca's 'day jobs' are the day-to-day management of the University of Winchester Centre for Religion, Reconciliation and Peace. And Secretariat Manager of the European Council of Religious Leaders. In-between these jobs, she produces arts events/exhibitions and produces her own work.
